The Promised aims to bring you a story as inspired as The Chosen, as epic as The Lord of the Rings, and as gritty as Apocalypto.
It’s 600 years before the coming of Christ. Before the New Testament, before the Jewish exile, and long before Rome entered the scene…

Our purpose with The Promised TV Series is this:
To deliver bold, authentic stories that inspire, bridging the gap between faith-based and secular viewers.
What does this mean?
We are here to tell a story. An epic story of faith, courage, and life-altering choices, filled with complex characters that remind us of ourselves. At the heart of The Promised is a desire to share narratives that unite us in our humanity, regardless of religious beliefs.
How will we do this?
Our top priority is quality. Quality of story, research, world building, teams, production, post-production... and every "small and simple" step in between. This series will fall by the wayside, like many past Book of Mormon projects, without the appropriate attention given to each detail- from the writer's room to the post-production booth.
How can such quality be ensured?
There's no other way to say it - quality comes at a price. It is a price we believe these stories deserve. With the right budget and your investment, The Promised will be built with a foundation of talented, tested industry professionals equipped with the right tools, sets, actors, cinematography, costumes, music, editing and more. In short: the fullest experience for our audience, and a TV series they'll watch again and again.

Why a "Proof of Concept"?
Our "Proof of Concept" will be a 10-20 minute video containing scenes from The Promised episodes 1-6 of season 1. We will be able to showcase the level of production quality required for a series such as The Promised, allowing us to share our vision with investors and distributors.
A proof of concept allows audiences and investors alike to grasp the enormity of The Promised universe, while experiencing the Book of Mormon in a way that has never been done before: Real. Raw. Relatable. Without the need to evangelize- because the story is what matters most.
With this Proof of Concept in hand, we will be in a position to negotiate higher budgets and grander visions for The Promised as we move into production for Season 1.
